Andrew Houston
Andrew started coaching in 2000 shortly after he realized how much his contracting business and person-al life was at a crossroads. After countless nights of being stuck working late and missing family dinners, it finally dawned on him how rarely he spent time with his wife and children. One night he made the decision to change his career path and put his family first. Andrew wants to help other contractors do the same and that is why he founded Profit For Contractors.
For the past decade Andrew has helped hundreds of contractors maximize profit, dominate their market, and most importantly, get back time to spend with their families and loved ones. No one knows the ins and outs of the trades quite like Andrew as he comes from a long line of tradespeople himself. Andrew is an Industrial Controls Licensed Electrician and Electronics Engineering Technologist who has owned, operated, and suc-cessfully sold his own automation company. Andrew has been published multiple times in Electrical Business Magazine and hosted countless webinars alongside different trades-related publications such as Canadian Contractor and HPAC Magazine. He has presented live in front of hundreds of contractors at trade shows such as Noble, spoken at private workshops for suppliers such as Boone Plumbing & Heating, Desco Plumb-ing, and Bardon Supply, and lead association meetings for the Ontario Electrical League and Greater Ottawa Home Builder’s Association. Andrew’s goal is to carve the path to money, freedom, and control for as many trades-related business owners as possible through means of mindset coaching, marketing and sales train-ing, profit advice, and tools and strategies.
